Treaty of Ft. Jackson
After the Battle of Horseshoe Bend, the Creeks were all but defeated. General Jackson was sent by the Secretary of War to 'dictate' terms to the defeated Creeks in the form of a treaty.
Treaty of Fort Jackson terms:
* Creeks turn over the amount of land that was equal to the expenses of the war effort of the United States during the Creek War
* Creeks will not associate with any Spanish people or towns, and will not work with agents or traders who did not have a license from the United States
* The United States would be given the right to make roads and military bases in Creek territory
* The Creeks prophets and investigators of the war must be surrendered
